Sebastian Markowsky is a Venture Partner at BVV. He is a technology dealmaker, blockchain and crypto enthusiast, speaker, thought-leader and author of one of the most read reports in blockchain called “Token Frenzy”. Before joining BVV he was leading blockchain activities for GP Bullhound. He uniquely combines dealmaking from bulge-bracket institutions, deep technological understanding of distributed ledgers, strong business acumen as well as a strong global network and continuously aims to bridging the gap between the blockchain and corporate world. He is a trusted adviser to many blockchain projects and corporates with blockchain ambitions. Earlier in his career, Sebastian was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank in the Corporate Finance department in Frankfurt where he advised numerous corporate clients, financial investors, HNWIs and entrepreneurs.
Sebastian holds a Diploma with majors in Finance and Real Estate Economics from European Business School (EBS) in Oestrich-Winkel and an Executive MBA from Columbia University New York.
He also is a founding member of the International Token Standard Association (“ITSA”).
